
Philip Danquah
Philip is an experienced Investment Banker and Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in managing, scaling and exiting private equity investment portfolio in Ghana and Liberia and in managing banking operations. Philip has managed and exited private equity investment portfolio in the agribusiness, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, business services and technology sectors. By serving as Investment Manager and Board Director in several private equity and venture capital portfolio companies, Philip has formulated and implemented strategies which helped Small & Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) to achieve significantly growth, deploy modern technology, turnaround their operations and improve profitability. Philip also has a significant experience in managing private equity back-office operations. Philip is a Principal and Chief Investment Officer at Mirepa Investment Advisors. Philip also has significant experience in microfinance operations and he serves as a Board Director in a number of reputable companies in Ghana.
Prior to becoming a private equity investment professional in 2008, Philip worked as Head of Banking Operations at Guaranty Trust Bank Ghana Limited (GT Bank). He was a member of the pioneer team which started GT Bank in Ghana in 2005.
Philip is a Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He holds an Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School and Bachelor of Commerce Degree (B. Com) from the University of Cape Coast. Philip also holds the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment - UK (CISI) professional qualification.
